AVG 7.5 Free expires May 31st |

If you are currently a user of AVG 7.5 Antivirus Free edition you will receive a notification which tells you 'Updates for your current AVG Free will not be available after May 31st 2008. AVG 7.5 is being replaced by AVG 8.0'.
The notification implies you need to purchase an upgrade but this guide will show you how to install AVG 8.0 Free edition.
When you update AVG 7.5 the following window may appear:
1) Click on the 'Learn more & Upgrade now' button 
2) You will then be taken to the AVG website and the following page will be displayed
3) At the foot of this page you should see a link to 'add new AVG Free 8.0 to your security mix.'

4) You should then see the following page
Click the  button under 'AVG Free' and follow the instructions.
